Tell me this girl isn't going to be a model one day! She's so photogenic it took me two hours just to go through the 300 pictures I took at their session to find any bad ones! It wasn't easy! It must be a genetic thing. haha I will let their pics speak for themselves I'm quite proud of these!

The Rodriguez Family

First of all, the little girl you are about to see in these pictures is so cute that I think she's illegal in at least 15 states. She didn't want to smile for me today because, well frankly who wants a camera shoved in their face! I did manage to catch a little grin though :) Dan and Josie are tying the knot on January 7th 2012 so a big congratulations to them and I hope they like their pictures!

Waiting for baby Gavin

So Clayton is my cousin and Heather is his beautiful girlfriend :) They are expecting their first baby in January 2012 and I had the pleasure of taking their maternity pictures. I so regret not taking maternity pics of my own so I must admit I'm living vicariously through her! lol I so hope they enjoy these pictures they are some of my favorite to date!

The other woman . . .

Meet Ginger. My husbands dog. She can do no wrong and to be honest I believe the pecking order in our house is Paisley, Ginger, 68 Mustang, then me. Whatever the case may be she posed very nicely for me so I thought I would share :)

My Nephews first birthday!

First, HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my amazing nephew Hayden! The family and I drove all the way to Arizona to celebrate his birthday with him. Poor Hayden has had a very rough year dealing with some pretty serious medical issues but I am happy to report he has been feeling much better and we wish him a much better year. Lucky me, I got to create all of his decorations for his birthday party. I'm a total crafter/ scrap book junkie so this job was right up my alley. Unfortunately the pictures of my nephew are corrupt on my card :( all I managed to salvage were these 4. Tell me what you think!

Oh christmas tree

I am OBSESSED with Christmas tree ornaments. I love collecting them year round and often use some pretty unconventional things as ornaments. Like a garden shovel that I painted in a xmas theme. What can I say I'm weird! Anyway below are some pics of our tree :) More to come I'm sure.

I had the pleasure of being able to take this couples post wedding pictures :) They came all the way from Missouri to have their wedding here in Las Vegas at the same place where my parents were hitched. They are such a cute couple and I loved being able to photograph them. I can't wait to take pictures of their growing family! Wink* Wink*

OK . . . . So they aren't clients. Infact I had to bribe them for a school assignment to do this but much to my surprise and pleasure they really enjoyed their pictures! Those of you who know me know that Shelby is my sister and somewhat of a pain in the butt to me! I love her though :P So, here we are with some pics. Enjoy!

I'm buzzed!

Well not really, at least not now anyway lol I was taking pictures for a school assignment today and having THE hardest time with it. I finally threw up my hands and decided to go outside and just sit for a while and get my hand off the shutter button. While outside I noticed a group of honey bees going to all my flowers and thought hey thats easy enough! I can get that pic easy! Never again will those words come out of my mouth. 35 minutes later I have two decent shots of a bumblbee. I will say he was very cooperative and patient with me though :)

Trip to the Farmers Market

It seems like no matter where I go now I take my camera. With all of my new equipment that I "must have" it can be quite cumbersome but I'm so glad I brought it this day :) The family and I decided to take a trip to the local farmers market and have a little picnic breakfast and look for the peacocks that live on the property. We found them!
